Our beginnings

Silver Spoon Bowmen was founded in 1975 as part of the British Sugar Sports and Social Club.
We are affiliated to Archery GB, East Midlands Archery Society and Lincolnshire County Archery Society.

Where and When we Shoot

We shoot during the Winter months Indoors at Holbeach Hub
Monday & Thursday evenings 7:00pm until 9:00pm.

Outdoors at Red House Farm, Donington Wykes (Map on the Homepage)

Winter – October – March
Summer – April – September

Beginners and Fees

To become a member of Silver Spoon Bowmen, you either need to be an experienced archer or, if you are new to archery, attend one of our Beginners Courses.

If you’re interested in having a go at Archery we run taster sessions & beginners courses throughout the year, we will pop details here and on our Facebook & Instagram pages.

These courses are run to Archery GB guidelines, by Archery GB qualified coaches.

Beginners Courses – £75.00 –  Have-a-Go Sessions £20

Once you’ve completed the course there are annual fees as follows:

Archery GB fees – Seniors £61.30 – Juniors, 18-24 & Disabled £18.65.

Silver Spoon Bowmen Club fees – 
Seniors (18+)  £100.00
Juniors £50.00
2 Seniors £170.00
1 Senior & 1 Junior £127.50
2 Juniors £85.00
2 Seniors & 1 Junior £212.50
