The 2nd Richard Gherardi Trophy Shoot

This years competition was held on 11 October 2008 at the Gleed School. The round was a handicapped Warwick.

A good turn out of archers, together with family and friends, combined with great weather and food, made for a really good day.

The shoot was divided into 2 sections - those with official handicaps and those without.

Barbara Hughes won the handicapped shoot, finishing on +44. Lynn Fisher also finished with +44 - 1st place going to Barbara, as her handicap of 50 was higher than Lynn's 46. Stephanie Mountney was 3rd, on +27.

In the non-handicapped section, Mike Wood was 1st with a score of 372, ahead of Mark Ross and Colin Seaton, on 304 and 288, respectively.

4 club records were also set on the day by Sam Newton, Ryan Mountney, Mark Ross and Christine Ticehurst.

Many thanks to Barry Molsom for being the judge for the day and the working party who set up and cleared the field.

And special thanks to Rhenzo for presenting the trophies to the winners on 21st and to all those who contributed to the collection for the Starlight Childrens Foundation - we raised £175.
