Welcome to the website of Silverspoon Bowmen of Spalding. The site should contain everything you need to know about us - who we are, where we shoot and how to get involved in the sport of archery and become a member of our club. The site also contains a comprehensive calender of archery competitions in and around Lincolnshire, including entry forms, results, shoot reports and photographs. We constantly update the site, so please keep a look out for changes. 9 July 2010: Silverspoon Bowmen's Abbie Spinks, Ryan Mountney and Oliver Tagg competed at the Junior Fita Star and Junior National Outdoor Championships at Lilleshall NSC last weekend. Against very tough opposition, Oliver was 28th on the Saturday and 29th on the Sunday. Ryan shot very well and came away with 9th and 8th places, as well as new club and county records, including a 1237 Metric 2. Star of the show, however, was Abbie who won both the Junior Fita Star on the Saturday (scoring 1345) and the Junior National Championships on the Sunday (scoring 814 for a Junior Western - the competition having been shortened due to high winds). Both scores are new club and county records.
